i am using this product to build myself a new shop.used one battery to screw down 9 sheets of 3/4 in. b/c plywood and still have plenty of power left in the battery.

i use my 18v drill at home plus in the field hanging cabinets in beauty shops, and it works like no other drill i've ever used. good product!!!!!

I have bought reconditioned products before and usually they are like new. However, this product has definitely seen some use, the drill body is dingy and has some nicks. I'm hoping that this will last as long as a new drill would. Works fine so far... just have had for 1 week.

I purchased this as "refurbished" unit.

Th first time I used it, it would drill for a while, then just quit. I would release the trigger and press it again and it would run for a little while again and quit again.
Put other battery in, same thing.
It's at the Ridgid Service Center now for repair.

Not impressed with their refurbishing skills.

These are great drills. The only problem is keeping the batteries for them. They don't hold a charge, and don't last long. And the batteries are very expensive. That's why I have 4 drills and two batteries right now.

Good power, quick recharge, acceptable battery life.

Repair on this unit is suspect. Significant arcing on brushes and strong Ozone smell as operated. Not a reflection on unit quality but on repair at CPO

This drill works great, it came in packaged as a new drill would be. The only problem we have had is that one of the batteries failed. [...]I dont usually buy reconditioned tools for the factory floor, but this one has me thinking I might do it a bit more in the right situation.

I originally was looking at the drill with one battery, but I never saw it "available." So Mr Frugal decided to spring for the drill and two batteries. It turned out to be a very good decision. I haven't used it much, to drill several holes and then to screw in deck type screws. The drill exhibited more than enough power and was very easy to operate.

it works well but the condition was very disappointing. For a few dollars more I could have bought a new one. You should make people more aware that it's used equipment. Very used.

Drilled 30 1/4 inch holes through 1 inch lumber and 1/8 ingh angle iron before the battery quit. when it runs down it stops completely. Fast charging.

It's a comfortable drill to use. I've tried some brands that are heavy and cumbersome.It has alot of power and charges back up quickly. We're very happy with it.

I have the 1/2 inch hammer drill but this one is more adept at repeditive use. It is light and nimble but also powerful.

I was able to drill hole with a 1in paddle bit and it didn't slow it down. It is nice to have the 2 batteries, if one dies you have the other one ready to use.
